More details on the 2009 WRX

More details on the new ’09 WRX have arrived. Car and Driver recently did a road test with the car and found that it propelled from 0 to 60mph in a blistering 4.7 seconds. That’s faster than the ’08 STi, which received a time 0.3 seconds slower! The standing 1/4 mile on this car also comes in very quick – 13.5@102mph.

Overall, this makes me ponder Subaru’s new stance on the WRX. If they’ve beefed up the car this much, and have added this much power, it only leaves me with one question: What can we expect for the future of the STi?

I’m also curious to see how other companies respond, such as Mazda and especially Mitsubishi. More pictures after the break.

Thanks , I’ve recently been looking for info approximately this topic for ages and yours is the greatest I’ve came upon so far. However, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you certain concerning the supply?|What i do not understood is if truth be told how you are no longer actually much more well-appreciated than you might be right now. You’re very intelligent.

I don’t like what they have done to the 2009 shape. It looks something like a regular ford focus. You just can’t beat the old classic shape.
