Subaru Forester XTi Concept

Subaru has unveiled a new concept car, debuted as the XTi Concept. The car features the legendary 2.5 liter boxer, producing 315 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The car is set to debut this week at the SEMA show, featuring numerous SPT goodies as well. Expected 0-60 time is supposed to be less than 5 seconds, which clearly puts it into STi territory.

Aesthetically, the car features a special color fade paint job, which has been dubbed “Re-entry”. As many readers may recall, the previous second generation Forester was outfitted with an STi trim in 2005, but was only available in Japan. Perhaps showing the car in Las Vegas for SEMA brings the possibility of a USDM model. (We can only hope, come on Subaru!)
